Usage

This guide covers 1.1.0 (Internal Testing). See the change log for changes from 1.0.9.

On phone, use the bottom bar for Home, Workouts, Planned and History. The toolbar overflow menu contains Settings and Connected services. On Wear OS, find Connected services in Settings.

Phone menus can follow device rotation; tracking and layout editing remain portrait-only. Tablets and Wear also remain portrait-only.

Home shows favourite workouts and upcoming favourite plans. Its Connected services shortcut can be shown or hidden with Pin to Home in Connected services. Once subscription details have loaded, subscribed users can tap the Home title or subscription subtitle to manage access.

Primary actions

Tap a row to open it or perform its main action. A trailing chevron or pencil without a divider belongs to the whole row.

Secondary actions

A divided trailing icon performs a separate action, such as settings, additional actions or library selection.

On phone, Create and other quick actions are in the toolbar. Long-press an editable item to enter list editing; use selection controls and drag handles to manage items. Phone edit actions appear in a bottom bar. Wear uses context actions and long-press editing.

Wearable/Mobile Sync

Install GT on both a paired phone and watch to synchronise workout configuration. You can prepare layouts and intervals on the larger phone screen, then use them on the watch. Keep both apps updated, especially when using remote media controls.

Finishing and recovering activities

A completed tracking screen stays visible until you dismiss it. If recording was interrupted, reopen GT promptly: recovery looks for a recent local tracking checkpoint within 30 minutes. A recovered paused activity remains paused.

Trial recordings stop and save at 15 minutes, with an explanation on the completed screen. Multisport legs share that time allowance.
